Terms of Service
1. Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, or using DeepNode Copy ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. DeepNode Copy is developed and provided by DeepNode Studios as free, open-source software under the MIT License.
2. License and Usage
DeepNode Copy is licensed under the permissive MIT License. You are free to:
- Use the Software for personal, educational, commercial, or institutional purposes without paying licensing fees.
- Inspect, modify, compile, and distribute copies of the source code in accordance with the MIT License notice.
3. Local Operation and Data Integrity
DeepNode Copy operates entirely locally on your machine. The software accesses file system APIs (including Win32 Overlapped I/O, Direct I/O, and cryptographic hashing routines) solely to perform the file transfer, move, and verification operations explicitly requested by you.
4. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHORS OR COPYRIGHT HOLDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES, OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE SOFTWARE.
You acknowledge that file transfer and overwrite actions carry inherent risks of accidental data loss if misconfigured. You are solely responsible for verifying target directories and ensuring adequate backups exist prior to executing critical batch operations.
5. Updates and Telemetry
DeepNode Copy contains zero spyware, advertisements, or tracking scripts. The in-app updater connects exclusively to official GitHub Release endpoints to check for and download verified updates when prompted.
6. Contact
If you have any questions regarding these Terms, contact DeepNode Studios at [email protected].
